Priyanka Deokar is the founder of White Lotus School of Cake Decoration Arts Pune. She completed MCVC Bakery & Confectionery and went on to co-found Modern Cakes & Confectioneries where she worked in various capacities, building the business from the ground up. After training many chefs for Modern Cakes she realized the dearth of trained and educated individuals in the industry and decided to bridge the gap.
The foundation for WLSCDA was laid in 2013, a first of kind in Pune. A Hands on, Basic to Advance Skill Training School, for Small-Scale Professionals, Aspiring Chefs, Foodie Enthusiasts and Home Bakers alike. Here Priyanka shares her skills, experiences & her practical knowledge about Cake Decoration, Baking, Chocolate & Patisserie with anyone who aspires to learn.
A decade of experience in Fresh Cream Icing & many other mediums of Cake Decoration, she has learned Patisserie & Chocolate Molding from many renowned Chefs and Institutions worldwide. Priyanka has designed & developed all of the courses taught at White Lotus based on these experiences and learning. She is an unconventional teacher with old school yet quirky methods of teaching. A Chef who’s always eager to help you realize your Sugary Dreams!
She continues to learn, as it is her constant endeavor to update herself with new skills and techniques trending in the industry for the betterment of the school as well as her students.
